Exclusive: OPEC: A Recurring Nightmare

Exclusive: OPEC: A Recurring Nightmare

Family Security Matters, NJ - Jun 23, 2008

OPEC, acronym for The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, was founded in Baghdad on September 14th, 1960, ostensibly to bargain and negotiate the sale of oil to the West by Algeria, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela….

They sound just like another commercial fraternal organization, but with the exception of Venezuela and a bizarre on again/off again romance with Ecuador, all member states are Muslim and the bulk of the oil reserves, estimated to be more than three quarters of the entire world’s, are located in the Arab Middle East….

Saudi Arabia and OPEC cohorts don't just hold us over a barrel of oil. They fund and control radicalized Middle East departments in major Universities …

An Egyptian Makes the Case for America
Yahoo! News - Nov 23, 2007

The discourse coming out of the Arab and Islamic region is a disgrace," Khalil argued. "In Darfur and south Sudan, severe human rights violations occur — ethnic cleansing, the murder of millions and rape. Yet no one but the West exposes what is happening in south Sudan and Darfur. … It is the West that attacked Serbia. It is the West that established the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. It is the West that protects the independence of Kosovo."

Hamas, Teddy Bears in Sudan and the Muslim Brotherhood Douglas Farah
30 Nov 2007

There are two places where the Muslim Brotherhood exercises governmental power-Sudan and the Palestinian territories. That is, where it controls the levers of the state. It seems to me it is worth looking at these states to see how the Brotherhood would govern if given the chance, and to see the real agenda of the organization that claims to represent moderate, modernizing and tolerant interpretations of Islam.

For an excellent summary of why the Muslim Brotherhood is such an important topic, see this new paper by [http://www.futureofmuslimworld.com/research/pubID.72/pub_detail.asp#%22] Hillel Fradkin of the Hudson Institute.

EU rights champion urges Europe to act on Darfur
Tue 4 Dec 2007, 17:44 GMT

[-] Text [+] By David Brunnstrom

BRUSSELS, Dec 4 (Reuters) - The winner of the European Union's top human rights prize demanded on Tuesday that the bloc take a more active role in resolving the Darfur crisis, saying it could not simply stand by during "genocide".

Speaking before an EU-Africa summit this weekend, Sudanese lawyer Salih Mahmoud Osman called on the EU to commit troops for a Darfur peace force and help bring rights abusers to justice.

"Europe has always been talking tough about the policies of the government of Sudan, but we don't see acts," he told a news briefing in Brussels. "Europe is confused, it is divided on the issue of Darfur. The EU hasn't any unified political will."

International experts estimate 200,000 people have been killed and 2.5 million uprooted in Darfur since mostly non-Arabs took up arms in early 2003 accusing Khartoum of neglect. Khartoum says 9,000 have died.

FARROW ATTACKS SUDAN'S 'CRUEL' LEADERS 2007-12-04...

Actress MIA FARROW has blasted Sudanese leaders for
jailing a British schoolteacher accused of blasphemy, calling their treatment of her a typical act of "palpable insanity and cruelty".
The UNICEF goodwill ambassador hopes the
imprisonment of Gillian Gibbons who was incarcerated for allowing her pupils to name a teddy bear Muhammad will highlight the tyrannical control the downtrodden people of Darfur are forced to live under and, in turn, prompt Westerners to help them.
However, Farrow - who was in London on Sunday (02Dec07) to launch new campaign Fund4Darfur - is outraged that Gibbons' plight grabbed the headlines when the bigger issues facing the war-ravaged folk of Darfur are still being ignored by the media.
She said, "One white woman in peril with a teddy bear has captured more media attention than the past three years of our brothers and sisters in the Darfur region.
"This is the first genocide of the 21st century and the one
genocide that is ongoing as we speak.
We have ,b>a regime that launched a military campaign on an unarmed population for no other reason than that they are not Arab." Fund4Darfur will aid the survivors of the fighting between Sudan's government and Darfur's rebels, who have been at war for four years, resulting in 200,000 casualties and 2.5 million being forced from their homes.

TV Review: HBO - Sand And Sorrow
December 3rd, 2007 by Simon Barrett
Genocide, it’s just a word, it’s a word that you read in history books. But what does it really mean? Well, if you want to get rid of weeds in your lawn you use a herbicide, if ants are invading your house you likely will use a pesticide. You have probably noticed the use of the word ending ‘cide’.
There are lots of words that end with ‘cide’ and I can not think of a single one that is good! A little bit of research reveals that ‘cide’ comes from Latin, and in it’s basic form, it means ‘to kill’. Genocide is the systematic removal of a people, and genocide is what is happening in the Sudan right now.

HBO are definitely making a name for themselves in the documentary world, they are willing to take on projects that the other networks turn a blind eye to. Sand And Sorrow takes a very long hard look at the African country of Sudan, more specifically the Darfur region and the genocide that has been taking place.

Without doubt this is one of the worlds poorest regions, with few natural resources, and no strategic geographic location, no-one seems to want to help the people. I may be cynical, but I am sure that if Darfur had oil, the world powers would be breaking their necks to help.

Sand And Sorrow explores what is happening in Darfur, and the findings are not good. This is not about religion, everyone is Muslim,
this is about Arab versus Non Arab. The Arab led government in Khartoum is systematically killing the non-arab population of Darfur, moving village by village the militia are killing and raping their way through the region. It is estimated by some that the number of dead exceeds 400,000.

This is must see TV, produced and narrated by George Clooney, this is both a disturbing and frighting look at a situation that we, as decent people should not allow. Sand And Sorrow pulls no punches and the footage that is used is horrific. It not only shows the current status of the Sudan but explores the history and the West’s apparent apathy toward the problem. The US comes out of this in a very poor light, because Khartoum is on board with the ‘War on Terror’ the US is loath to intervene, the other world body that could help is the UN, but they are portrayed as a toothless Bulldog, growling and snarling, but unable to act for fear of veto by China or Russia.

This is indeed a very sad situation.

I am involved on the fringes of the education system here in Canada, and one of the groups I work with is the Immigrant Youth Organization, these are primarily young people who are refugees, many of who are from the Sudan. I had noticed how reticent they were to discuss their previous lives, through Sand And Sorrow I now understand why. They have lived through a nightmare that is unbelievably shocking.

Sand And Sorrow premiers December the 6th at 8pm on HBO. There is an accompanying web site which contains some interesting background, and a short trailer. If you cannot receive HBO or cannot make the airing you will be able to watch it in its entirety online between December 7th and 9th. After Rwanda I was convinced that the world had learned a lesson, but The Sudan is living proof that we have not.

(Arabs, Muslims Power Control & US foreign policy) Saudis have the US over a barrel of oil

Saudis have the US over a barrel of oil

By Ted Belman

In my article The Vast Power of the Saudi Lobby, which I urge you to read again. Here are a few extracts,

.. the U.S. ambassador to Riyahd, James Akins, did his best to placate King Faisal by urging the Saudi’s American-owned oil concessionaire ARAMCO to, in Akin’s words, “hammer home” to the White House that the embargo (seventies) wouldn’t be lifted unless
“the political struggle is settled in manner satisfactory to Arabs.”

Prince Bandar told Bush
Starting today, you go your way and we will go our way. From then on, the Saudis would look out for their own national interests.

It seemed the United States had made a strategic decision to adopt Sharon’s policy as American policy.

Within thirty-six hours, Bandar was on his way to Riyadh with a conciliatory response from Bush. When Bandar returned Powell cornered him.
“What the fuck are you doing?” witnesses recall Powell asking. “You’re putting the fear of God in everybody’s hearts here. We’ve all come rushing here to hear this revelation that you bring from Saudi Arabia. You scared the shit out of everybody.”

As a result of this power, I wrote Whatever Saudis Want Saudis Get.

Is America over a barrel of oil? Definitely.

And what Saudis want is al Quds with the Temple Mount and the greenline and G-d knows what else.

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuelan security forces clashed with protesters on Thursday, using tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannons to break up a march against President Hugo Chavez's plan to scrap term limits.

Thousands of students marched through the capital to the electoral authority's headquarters to protest what they say is Chavez's authoritarian proposal to use a referendum in December to amass power and fulfill his vow to rule for decades.

For hours, demonstrators set trees ablaze and threw stones, bottles and metal barriers at security forces in running battles across downtown Caracas. Some protesters were injured but there were no reports that any were in serious condition.
clinics and food subsidies.

It was the worst violence at a protest since students demonstrated against Chavez's closing of the last nationwide opposition television network in May, Reuters witnesses said.
clinics and food subsidies.

Congress, which has no opposition members, plans to pass a raft of constitutional changes on Friday, including empowering police to detain people without charges when Chavez declares there is a political crisis.
clinics and food subsidies.

Venezuelans must approve the changes in a December referendum.
clinics and food subsidies.

Chavez is popular among the majority poor because of his spending of oil income on schools, clinics and food subsidies.

That popularity and sweeteners in his proposed legislative package, such as shortening the work day, should secure him an easy win in the vote, pollsters say..

But with the opposition, the Roman Catholic Church and rights groups also criticizing the changes, turnout for the referendum could be low, they say.

Chavez Cracks down on Students
Rick Moran

Jim Hoft has the gruesome pictures and video. What was apparently a peaceful demonstration by students protesting President Hugo Chavez's "constitutional reforms" was broken up by the National Guard as well as riot police in Caracas yesterday.

The students are protesting against some pretty radical changes:

The amendments would give the government control over the Central Bank, create new types of cooperative property, allow authorities to detain citizens without charge during a state of emergency and extend presidential terms from six to seven years while allowing Chavez to run again in 2012.
That last change was proposed by Chavez because he says it is impossible to impose socialism on the country in the time legally granted him. In effect, Chavez is trying to make himself President for Life since he has proven in the past that he is not above committing gross electoral fraud in order to keep power.

Coupled with Chavez's aggressive anti-Americanism in the region, it appears that since the Venezuelan president will brook no opposition to his attempt to set up a dictatorship, we will have to deal with him for many years to come.

Hugo Chavez power grab succeeds

By Michelle Malkin • November 2, 2007 04:23 PM

The Venezuelan National Assembly has rubber-stamped Venezeulan thug-o-crat’s Hugo Chavez’s power grab and socialist makeover:

Venezuela’s National Assembly overwhelmingly gave final approval Friday to constitutional changes that would greatly expand the power of President Hugo Chavez and permit him to run for re-election indefinitely.

The assembly approved 69 amendments with all but seven of the 167 lawmakers raising their hands in favor of the changes, which threaten to spur fresh political upheaval in this oil-rich South American nation.

“Today the Venezuelan people have a pencil in their hands to write their own history, and it’s not going to be the history of the elite,” said pro-Chavez lawmaker Earle Herrera amid applause.

But dissident lawmaker Ricardo Gutierrez railed against pro-Chavez congressmen for approving amendments that “don’t have anything to do with giving more power to the people.”

If approved by voters in a Dec. 2 referendum, the changes would be Chavez’s most radical move yet in his push to transform Venezuela into a socialist state.

Can you smell the sulfur?

Students continue to demonstrate against El Diablo.

Alberto de la Cruz at Babalu Blog spotlights the student protests and writes: “This type of civil disobedience and protest is going to have to continue and grow in frequency and intensity if the people of Venezuela ever hope to get this monkey off their back.”

Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Kevin Spacey, and Naomi Campbell were unavailable for comment.

1) Condemming Arab Muslim 'Palestinian' parents, teachers, leaders, Mullahs, for using Arab kids as human shields and as human bombs, clarifying the real culprits in Arabs' deaths.
2) Violations by ILLEGAL PA Arabs "settlers" on Israel's "agreed" borders by the UN.
3) "Palestinian" Violation of virtually ALL agreemants pacts with Israel (Oslo, Camp David, etc.).
4) The PA official media & education = hate (crimes) campaign on "the joos", (not just on Israel...).
5) Exposing the constant intimdation on nations by the GOLIATH ARAB MUSLIM (oil) block, to tarnish innocent Israel in the UN.

________

TO THE ARAB MUSLIM ANTI-ISRAEL PROPAGANDIST:

1) Are you denying that the Arab racist attacks on Jews in Israel/"palestine" has started since 1838 (Safed) [so were the attacks in 1883, 1920, 1921, 1929 - Hebron, etc.]?

2) Had Israel be a (mostly) Arab-Muslim State, would the intolerant Arab-Muslim Goliath world not accept them?

3) Why is there a complete silence on the historical fact of Arab immigration late 1800s early 1900s into Israel/"palestine"?

4) What anti-Israel bigotry is stronger, the "Arab racism"; factor? or the 'Islamic-Jihad' factor?

5) 'Moral equivalence' Do you have Arab activists on behalf of Israeli victims, just like you have Jewish, Israeli, Zionists activists for the (so called) 'Palestinian cause' (whatever that is...)?

6) If humane Israel would really go after "unarmed poor palestinians" as the 'Pallwood' propagandists tell us, How many Arabs would have survived Israel's might?

7) Who's more at fault, the Arab Muslim "Palestinians" parents pushing for Shahid-isim, or the indoctrinating Mullahs, Imams in the holy Mosques for using "Palestinian" kids and women as human bombs and as human shields (so they can blame the Zionists when Arab kids die)?

8) What would have happened if Arab Muslim "Palestinians" would have invested as much energy in rebuilding their lives as they do in destroying both nations' lives in fascistic Jihad, total hatred and campaign for GENOCIDE [to "drink the blood of the Jews" or to "push them all to the sea", or to "wipe them off of map"]?

9) Why does "bad" IDF Israeli army announce an area residents' civilians to evacuate before an operation against terrorists?

10) Why did Humane Israel's IDF invented specially low range missiles designed to hit ONLY the [terror] target and minimize collateral damage?

11) When was the last time the "Palestinian" well oil-ed propaganda machine has retracted [or even apologized] for it's usual PALLYWOOD fake images industry?

12) What's the difference between a Christian in Indonesia, Buddhist in Thailand, Christian in Nigeria, in Philippines, Australians in Bali (2002), non Muslims in London (0707/2005), in Madrid (bombing), "not the-right-kind-of-Muslims" in Shiite-Sunni hateful massacres in Iraq, oppression & massacres in the "Islamic Republic of Iran", and Israeli victims of the same "evil ideology"?

13) What's a harder oppression, your "average" Arab Muslim regime's on it's own people, Hamas-tan Islamic Apartheid [which most "Palestinians" supported!] on non Muslims, or the pro-Jihad parents' on their kids?

14) What would have happened if at least ONE Arab Muslim nation [regular or oil-ed one] would really care about the Arab [brothers, that since the 1960's started to call themselves as] "Palestinians" and let them get off the terror slum into normality and even prosperity?

15) What part of 'BLIND FASCISM' do Arab-Muslims deny, the usual obsessed anti Israel demonization [no matter what Israel does] or the reluctance to see Israel's super kind gestures for those that are trying to kill them [releases from prison, giving away own land vital to it's security, humanitarian aid, etc.] not as goodness but as "weakness"?

16) Why is it that when Islamists terrorists [Hamas or Hezbullah, Islamic Jihad, etc.] succeed in making sure Arab kids die [with their known tactics of cowardly firing among or behind children, etc.] the Arabs, Muslims rejoice and the Israelis, Jews are saddened ?

16) How can land be an issue [or the blatant lies the Arab lobby's financed: Jimmy Carter has said, though he admitted that Israel is a great equal democracy for all, Arabs and Jews alike!'] if "moderate" Palestinian official government still has venomous hatred and pro 'death cult' in it's regular curriculum and on it's official TV, or that such "moderate" Arab media outlets [like Al Jazeera] still glorify mass murder as "martyrdom"?

17) Who's more powerful, the Arab Muslim Goliath Oil mafia "lobby" on the world or a Chinese, Italian, Israeli, Irish, pharmaceutical, cigarettes lobbyists in Washington?

18) Had the International Arab Muslim lobby of nations in the UN [or the EU] not threatened other nations to bash Israel 24/7 [motivated by intolerance only!], What would be then the outcome?

_____

Let's make it clear, even if there will be a "Palestine" state, it will never change the factual history, that a group of foreign Arab immigrants came into the (historic) land of the Jews (and started to call themselves as "Palestinians" in the 1960's) and hijacked the world comunity via terrorism and Arab oil power to give them yet a second 'Palestine' state (after Jordan).
