Biased CNN explains as "news" why Palestinians aim at children

At the CNN news ticker the following title of "news" appeared today (Dec. 21, 2010): "5 hurt in rocket fire, retaliation in southern Israel" as well as on the page: http://edition.cnn.com/MIDDLEEAST .

The HTML copied:

<li><a href="/2010/WORLD/meast/12/21/israel.rocket.fire/index.html">5 hurt in rocket fire, retaliation, in southern Israel</a> </li>

Though when clicking on the actual link, the content is different, as it has been altered a few times, since.
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/12/21/israel.rocket.fire/index.html

That exact title was copied automatically on those that subscribe to CNN's feeds, e. g.: http://news.vivasoft.hu/the-news/17842-5-hurt-in-rocket-fire,-retaliation-in-southern-israel.html and http://359online.com/5-hurt-in-rocket-fire-retaliation-in-southern-israel/

This fits very well with the Islamists-appeasement policy that whatever they do, it's just a reaction, when in fact the Arab Palestinians are always initiating the attack aimed at innocent Israelis at their homes or at kindergartens when the children are gathered there, or/and practicing the use of its own civilians.

The hidden message behind the headline which attempts almost to equate the two sides is so outrageous, as if there's some kind of moral equivalence between those that seek death and destruction for all and Israelis that struggle so hard to defend lives. So is the naiive "understanding" that when Hamas says it does something as a "retaliation," we should simply "believe" it. Since when is news media a mouthpiece for terrorists? No one should buy into it as a fact, or anything else beyond a Hamas' propaganda argument - value. Neither CNN, nor anyone else can assert as "news" what is a "retaliation" and what is in fact, an excuse.

According to this twisted CNN view, it's all a game, they are just both fighting each other, nothing about Israelis defending citizens from Palestinians seeking civilians as targets, or/and children when they go to school. Note also CNN's general ommission of the Israeli exact location 'KINDERGARTEN' repeatedly a target

Moreover, it entails a horrific cheapening of Israeli innocent lives, that they're hurt "only because of some retaliation" thing. an almost "natural" casualty of some 'tit-for-tat' myth. How dare CNN?

Again and again, CNN shows its real "news" colors, when its more of an opinion medium.

How about a simple non-opinionated news headline: "Palestinians fire at Israeli homes," or "Palestinians attack Israeli kindergartens, again." Just the facts. The truth for a change!

The 'Qassam Kindergarten' Jihad

The 'Qassam Kindergarten' Jihad

'Palestinians' Islamic Hamas, "loves" children, well, in their special 'death cult' type of way anyway.

You already know how they love their own children... to die for propaganda, and make every effort in succeeding in it - unfortunately.

But there are also other children under the "wings of Jihadi love" of Hamas, the Israeli children in schools, in kindergartens, they are "favorites", favorites in Hamas' targets that is, planning the time/place when/where they go to school, thank God for so many miracles where children weren't harmed.

Call it 'Qassam kindergarten', 'Kindergarten Jihad', or plain 'Jihad on kids' the broader reality.

Pallywood slow on blaming its murder on the "zionists"

Palestinian rocket misfires, kills 2 girls in Gaza

Masked Palestinian militants are seen during an Islamic Jihad rally in Bureij, AP – Masked Palestinian militants are seen during an Islamic Jihad rally in Bureij, central Gaza Strip, Friday, …

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – A crude rocket fired by Palestinian militants fell short of its target in Israel on Friday, striking a house in the northern Gaza Strip and killing two schoolgirls.

The attack came as Israel sent mixed signals over its plans to respond to continuing Palestinian rocket fire. Israeli defense officials say politicians have approved a large-scale incursion into the territory once rainy conditions clear. But at the same time, Israel appeared receptive to international pressure against an invasion, opening the Gaza border Friday to allow in deliveries of humanitarian aid.

The Mistakes That Launched 3,000 Rockets

By Richard A. Baehr
When Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon withdrew 8,000 residents and all of its defense forces from the Gaza Strip in the late summer of 2005, he offered several rationales to support what he called "disengagement." Regrettably, all but one have proven to be illusory. The result has been disastrous -- leading to the creation of a lawless terrorist haven in the Gaza Strip from which the controlling Hamas faction has lobbed thousands of crude rockets indiscriminately into southern Israel, precipitating a new generation of terror attacks against the Jewish state.

Demographics

One argument cited was the need to take the teeming Gaza Strip out of the Israeli-Palestinian demographic equation. It was estimated that some 1.5 million Palestinians live in Gaza, 2.5 million Palestinians live in the West Bank, and one million Arabs lives inside Israel's green line. This population of 5 million Arabs roughly matched Israel's Jewish population of 5 million. Thus, Sharon reasoned, with just the West Bank under Israeli control, the concern that Israeli Jews would soon be a minority between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River appeared less foreboding, or at least not for several decades.

As it turns out, the demographic scenarios promulgated by those who advocated for an Israeli withdrawal from both Gaza and the West Bank were wildly off the mark. As noted by researchers Bennett Zimmerman and Michael Wise in the pages of inFocus Quarterly, the Palestinian census counters inflated the Palestinian population in the West Bank and Gaza, while also exaggerating the annual population growth rate for the Palestinians.

In retrospect, the Gaza withdrawal may have lifted the Jewish percentage in the remaining areas under Israeli control, but the move was premature if not completely unnecessary.

Preventing Terror

A second rationale was that if Israeli settlers were removed from Gaza, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) would have no civilian population to protect, thereby relieving the army of the need to remain. Gaza, after all, had never been a major source of the suicide bombing attacks that had occurred inside Israel's green line. In fact, throughout the "al-Aqsa intifada" that began in 2000, only one such attack originated in Gaza, when foreign nationals traveling to Israel from Gaza with British passports devastated Mike's Bar, a popular pub near the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv in 2003. The IDF had simply erected a fence to surround Gaza, preventing untold numbers of suicide attacks.

In the years since its 2005 withdrawal, the IDF has learned a difficult lesson: suicide bombing is not the only way for terrorist to inflict harm upon Israeli civilians. Indeed, a fence cannot prevent projectiles such as rockets, missiles, or mortars aimed at close-by Israeli communities.

These attacks began soon after the Gaza fence was completed in 2001, but increased substantially year after year. Over the last seven years, Palestinian rockets have become increasingly lethal, with longer trajectories. Conservative estimates suggest that 3,000 rockets have been fired into Israel, not to mention mortars and missiles. The rockets now reach Ashkelon, a city of over 100,000 people, with key infrastructure, including a major Israeli port.

It is unclear whether Israel assumed that the Palestinian Authority would want to keep a lid on rocket fire from Gaza, since a period of "quiet" might encourage further Israeli withdrawals from the West Bank. If this ever was the case, things certainly changed in June 2007, when Hamas' one week military coup decimated the PA's grip on power in Gaza. Since then, rockets have been landing at an increasingly rapid rate.

Public Relations

A third rationale for Gaza disengagement was that Israel, often maligned in the mainstream media, would win a public relations victory from its unilateral withdrawal. This was wishful thinking. While the media has occasionally heaped scorn upon Hamas for its indiscriminate rocket attacks, the disengagement has done little to improve Israel's steady drubbing when it defends itself.

Sadly, the occasional criticism of Hamas violence seems to suggest that indiscriminate attacks on Israeli civilian targets were somehow more justified during the period when Israel controlled Gaza. Meanwhile, Israel is still castigated by the United Nations, left-leaning Human Rights groups and NGOs, and, of course, the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference. These groups can no longer castigate Israel for occupying the Gaza Strip so they now level new charges of collective punishment against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, when Israel responds with military operations in the areas where the rockets are launched.

A Gesture For Peace

A fourth rationale for the Gaza withdrawal was that it would lead to an improved atmosphere between Israel and the PA, and perhaps nudge both parties towards negotiating peace. The Olmert and Abbas governments are now busy negotiating a "shelf" agreement, but it is one in which even the most ardent peace pundits have little to no faith.

There are currently two Palestinian entities: Hamastan in Gaza, and the PA under Mahmoud Abbas, which maintains only tenuous control in the West Bank. If not for a steady IDF presence, analysts believe Hamas could easily take over. The PA is negotiating with Israel as if it controls Gaza , and Israel plays along. Only, Hamas is as much at war with the PA, as they are with Israel.

Let Gazans Control Their Destiny

The final rationale for the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 may prove to be the only one with validity. Optimists viewed Palestinian "sovereignty" in Gaza as a way for the Palestinians to demonstrate that, once in control of their own destiny, Gazans could take responsibility for their quality of life and their economic condition.

At least in one way, this has been a successful experiment. Hamas has demonstrated ingenuity in two areas: construction of smuggling tunnels under the border crossing between Egypt's Sinai Peninsula and Gaza, and mass-producing rockets with more precise targeting ability, greater firing range, and more destructive capability. While both endeavors have increased Hamas' ability to strike at Israeli civilians, they have done little to help the Palestinian national cause. By their own admission, Gazans are awash in misery and poverty.

Before its landslide electoral victory in 2006, Hamas was described by naïve observers as the one Palestinian group free of corruption. Compared to the ossified and corrupt Fatah party, Hamas could claim that it was the good government party, particularly since it had been providing social services to Palestinians through its da'wa (outreach) system for years.

Since the election Hamas has proven that feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, and providing medicines to the sick are among its lowest priorities. Rather, Hamas has focused all of its resources on attacking Israel - and even Fatah.

Lessons Learned

There are two painful lessons that can be learned from the daily rocket fire on Sderot, Ashkelon, and other population centers in Israel's south. First, Israeli gestures of good will signal weakness, and can lead to greater Palestinian hostility and violence. Second, half measures never solve any underlying problems.

Indeed, every one of the rationales for the 2005 disengagement envisioned a quiet border, and an improved security situation. Hopefully, the Israelis have learned two more lessons from the Gaza situation: know your enemy, and no more wishful thinking.

Stop perpetuating "Palestinian" Islamists' orchestrated self made fake "victimhood"!

Stop perpetuating "Palestinian" Islamists' orchestrated self made fake "victimhood"!

It's not only unfair but it's even dangerous to swallow their propaganda and "agree" with their: "we are the victims" culture.

It's all routine to see each time the Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad "succeeding" in it's devious tactics to appear as "victims", be it by inflicting self misery on turning all aid and resources towards destructive hateful fascistic Jihad, or via using civilians as shields for terrorists, or any other cruel tricks they come up with to show the world how "bad" the Israelis are to them, because you know 'all the troubles this self inflicted group of the Arab "Palestinians" always have is the "Zionists" fault of course.'

We should oppose any of their devilish propaganda that takes their civilians' lives along with the 'Oh, look how bad Israel is', message, a "people" that is able to kill it's own children (Hamas, Hezbollah and their massive followers) directly or indirectly only to damn (the good guy, anti terrorists defender) Israel's image, never deserve any sympathy.

I know they prey, especially on Jews' ultra conscience, but it's a dangerous game, once we allow to have compassion on those that are about nothing but compassion and minimal values of humanity, we are replacing this love where it rather should go, to the real innocent people anywhere else outside the guilty "Palestinian" group, that are not pushing their leaders towards genocide ideology.

Once we allow our selves to cave in to their tactics and finally sing that "Palestinians are victims" dreadful song, the danger is enormous, if we take them as "victims", this is exactly Islamic terrorists' power all over the world, their slogan: 'We are victims, so we can do what ever we want to".

Well of course the Qassam attack on Israeli schoolchildren that caused the Israeli action was another well planned trick to "justify" the latest Islamic bombing on innocent Israelis.

It's your life and mine or theirs, as simple as that, in the fascism of anti non-Muslims, or anti all that are not the right kind of Muslim in their evil eyes.

Kudos to [Jan. 2008] Obama, [though being such a liberal] who understood that, in writing to the [international Arab oil lobby hijacked] UN that he understands Israel's being forced by Palestinian terrorists to close cigarettes and luxury items (starving? yea right! another Pallywood lie) channels to Gaza.

Hamas, Gaza, Iran - News Censorship By PR, Terror, Murder

Hamas, Gaza, Iran - News Censorship By PR, Terror, Murder

By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency

Jerusalem, Israel ----- January 24, 2008 ....... Nowhere can one find democracy to be more alive, more vibrant than in the Fourth Estate. A few years after the French Revolution, Edmund Burke, looking up at the Press Gallery of the House of Commons, said, 'Yonder sits the Fourth Estate, and they are more important than them all.'

The Fourth Estate are working journalists. Whether it be print journalism, broadcast journalism or Internet journalism, the Fourth Estate both informs and keeps in check the First Estate - clergy, the Second Estate - nobility, for the enlightenment and protection of the Third Estate - commoners.

It has always been the ultimate tool of checks and balances.
A recent historical example was the Watergate Affair where Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein through intensive investigative journalism brought down US President Richard Nixon, forcing him to resign in disgrace.

Today one can find the Fourth Estate in action in both Israel and Hamas occupied Gaza. But the distinction and size between working in Gaza and Israel is no different than the width of the Atlantic Ocean. In Israel, the Fourth Estate is allowed access to governmental, commercial and religious affairs. Israel's government-appointed Winograd Commission of inquiry into the Second Lebanon War and its targeting of the IDF, the Israel Ministry of Security and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert releases its finding to both the domestic and global media without missing a heartbeat.

But the story is quite different in Hamas occupied Gaza. Hamas, a terror led and Iran fueled organization which qualifies as a First Estate entity does not allow free speech. If one cares to express themselves against Hamas, the penalty is either a bullet through the head, a beheading or a hanging. But where it really gets scary is when Hamas points their guns at journalists.

Now we have the Islamic First Estate attempting to control the Fourth Estate, not by blackmail, fraud or even public relations. But rather through the blatant use of terrorism - the murder or attempted murder of innocent civilians. Recently, a TV camera crew from Israel came under both sniper fire and Qassam rocket attacks by Hamas as they were investigating the Hamas sniper murder of a farm worker on the other side of Gaza.

The incident was fully documented and filmed.

Carlos Andres Chavez, a 20-year-old volunteer from Ecuador, was killed after he was shot by a Palestinian sniper from within the Gaza Strip as he was working in the fields of the Ein Hashlosha kibbutz located near the coastal territory.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, took responsibility for the murder.

The murder and beheading of American journalist and Wall Street reporter Daniel Pearl in Karachi, Pakistan by Islamic terrorists highlights another recent incident at intimidation by Islamic terrorists. It is believed that Al Qaeda was responsible for this murder.

Iran has also acknowledged that a Canada - Iran photojournalist was beaten to death after her arrest outside a prison in Tehran. Iran Vice President Ali Abtahi said Zahra Kazemi died "of a brain hemorrhage resulting from beatings". Kazemi, 54, was detained on 23 June for taking pictures of Tehran's Evin prison. She was later pronounced dead after falling into a coma

And according to Human Rights Watch, after testifying to a US presidential commission about their torture during detention, a group of Iran journalists have received death threats from judicial officials under Tehran chief prosecutor Saeed Mortazavi.

“We want the Iran government to know that the world is watching what happens to these young journalists. The Iranian government is responsible for their safety,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, executive director of Middle East and North Africa Division at Human Rights Watch. “The Iranian authorities should be protecting citizens who testify before presidential commissions instead of sending them death threats.”

Reporters Without Borders condemned the fatal shooting in Baghdad of Iraq TV journalist Liqaa Abdul-Razzaq in what "once again bears the hallmarks of an execution." An interpreter and the driver of the taxi she was travelling in were also killed in the same shooting, while a woman friend was wounded.

"We are outraged by what appears to have been a targeted killing designed to intimidate the entire press and we call on the authorities to carry out a rapid and thorough investigation to identify those responsible and prevent this kind of tragedy continuing," the organization said.

It also reiterated the principle that "journalists are neutral observers whose work must be protected and respected in order to ensure that news reporting is as free and thorough as possible."

But Hamas has little if any respect for journalists. If anything, journalists are used solely as a PR tool and provided with misinformation with headlines that appear in such global newspapers as the Belfast Telegraph and The Independent: "The poor and the sick suffer as Israel cuts power to Gaza."

Israel never cut power to Gaza. Hamas did. And the power which was severed was limited to Northern Gaza from where the Kassam rockets are launched daily slamming into the town of Sderot, Israel. As part of its propaganda machine Hamas shut down Gaza’s only power grid last week in protest of Israel’s blockade.

Hamas then broadcast images of children in a dark Gaza City, holding candles and portraying Israel as the aggressor.

How could Hamas broadcast pictures of children holding candles in Gaza if there was no electricity?

“We're continuing to supply the people of Gaza with electricity despite the overload for electricity in Israel and despite the fact that Israel residents and Electric Company workers that are being sent to Gaza vicinity communities are under threat from Qassam rockets,” said Israeli Electric Company (IEC) workers' committee chairman Miko Zarfati.

Several Israel electrical workers have been injured in rocket attacks in recent years and like farmers and others working near the Gaza fence, have been most recently threatened by sniper fire.

So as the democratic, free media in Israel attacks Ehud Olmert and others for their actions in Lebanon, as the democratic press in Israel takes the IDF to task for occasionally ignoring the needs of innocent Palestinians at defensive, security checkpoints, Hamas does not criticize it merely silences international reporters by bullets.

Just ask a group of international journalists at the Gaza - Israel border crossing of Erez, whose cars were sprayed by bullets two weeks ago by Hamas snipers.

If Israeli soldiers should ever hit and injure a journalist, it is never by intent. Either the journalist was not wearing clothing to identify himself as a journalist, did not inform the IDF that he or she was in the area or as in war time - the journalist was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is a risk that journalists take to get the story out. The ultimate sacrifice by the Fourth Estate for the many in the Third Estate. But the murders and kidnappings of foreign journalists by Islamic terrorists, by Hamas, al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran and are well planned events to silence those who dare to speak up against Islam. Iran's extreme Revolutionary Guards have maintained the death sentence on British author Salman Rushdie is still valid - 19 years after it was issued.

The military organization, loyal to Iran's supreme leader, said the order was "irrevocable", on the eve of the anniversary of the 1989 fatwa. The order was issued after publication of Rushdie's novel "The Satanic Verses", condemned as blasphemous.

This is just one of the many basic and fundamental differences between Hamas occupied Gaza and a small, democratic and free nation called Israel. But yet the Belfast Telegraph, the Independent, The LA Times, AFP, The Times and many other Western news media outlets chose to ignore these hard and documented facts as they continue to misinform and incite their readers against Israel. A nation which unilaterally left Gaza in a move for peace, but yet their innocent citizens and working journalists are still under attack by Hamas Kassam rockets and terror sniper fire.

The Fourth Estate has become a target in the Middle East and in distorting the news from time to time lends some credibility to those who target them. But yet another distinction between Hamas, Iran and Israel is that Israel may revoke a government issued press card, but Hamas will revoke one's life.

ISRAEL VS UN'S ANTI-ISRAEL BIAS
Israel should have [a long time ago] press the UN for:
1) Condemming Arab Muslim 'Palestinian' parents, teachers, leaders, Mullahs, for using Arab kids as human shields and as human bombs, clarifying the real culprits in Arabs' deaths.
2) Violations by ILLEGAL PA Arabs "settlers" on Israel's "agreed" borders by the UN.
3) "Palestinian" Violation of virtually ALL agreemants pacts with Israel (Oslo, Camp David, etc.).
4) The PA official media & education = hate (crimes) campaign on "the joos", (not just on Israel...).
5) Exposing the constant intimdation on nations by the GOLIATH ARAB MUSLIM (oil) block, to tarnish innocent Israel in the UN.

________

TO THE ARAB MUSLIM ANTI-ISRAEL PROPAGANDIST:

1) Are you denying that the Arab racist attacks on Jews in Israel/"palestine" has started since 1838 (Safed) [so were the attacks in 1883, 1920, 1921, 1929 - Hebron, etc.]?

2) Had Israel be a (mostly) Arab-Muslim State, would the intolerant Arab-Muslim Goliath world not accept them?

3) Why is there a complete silence on the historical fact of Arab immigration late 1800s early 1900s into Israel/"palestine"?

4) What anti-Israel bigotry is stronger, the "Arab racism"; factor? or the 'Islamic-Jihad' factor?

5) 'Moral equivalence' Do you have Arab activists on behalf of Israeli victims, just like you have Jewish, Israeli, Zionists activists for the (so called) 'Palestinian cause' (whatever that is...)?

6) If humane Israel would really go after "unarmed poor palestinians" as the 'Pallwood' propagandists tell us, How many Arabs would have survived Israel's might?

7) Who's more at fault, the Arab Muslim "Palestinians" parents pushing for Shahid-isim, or the indoctrinating Mullahs, Imams in the holy Mosques for using "Palestinian" kids and women as human bombs and as human shields (so they can blame the Zionists when Arab kids die)?

8) What would have happened if Arab Muslim "Palestinians" would have invested as much energy in rebuilding their lives as they do in destroying both nations' lives in fascistic Jihad, total hatred and campaign for GENOCIDE [to "drink the blood of the Jews" or to "push them all to the sea", or to "wipe them off of map"]?

9) Why does "bad" IDF Israeli army announce an area residents' civilians to evacuate before an operation against terrorists?

10) Why did Humane Israel's IDF invented specially low range missiles designed to hit ONLY the [terror] target and minimize collateral damage?

11) When was the last time the "Palestinian" well oil-ed propaganda machine has retracted [or even apologized] for it's usual PALLYWOOD fake images industry?

12) What's the difference between a Christian in Indonesia, Buddhist in Thailand, Christian in Nigeria, in Philippines, Australians in Bali (2002), non Muslims in London (0707/2005), in Madrid (bombing), "not the-right-kind-of-Muslims" in Shiite-Sunni hateful massacres in Iraq, oppression & massacres in the "Islamic Republic of Iran", and Israeli victims of the same "evil ideology"?

13) What's a harder oppression, your "average" Arab Muslim regime's on it's own people, Hamas-tan Islamic Apartheid [which most "Palestinians" supported!] on non Muslims, or the pro-Jihad parents' on their kids?

14) What would have happened if at least ONE Arab Muslim nation [regular or oil-ed one] would really care about the Arab [brothers, that since the 1960's started to call themselves as] "Palestinians" and let them get off the terror slum into normality and even prosperity?

15) What part of 'BLIND FASCISM' do Arab-Muslims deny, the usual obsessed anti Israel demonization [no matter what Israel does] or the reluctance to see Israel's super kind gestures for those that are trying to kill them [releases from prison, giving away own land vital to it's security, humanitarian aid, etc.] not as goodness but as "weakness"?

16) Why is it that when Islamists terrorists [Hamas or Hezbullah, Islamic Jihad, etc.] succeed in making sure Arab kids die [with their known tactics of cowardly firing among or behind children, etc.] the Arabs, Muslims rejoice and the Israelis, Jews are saddened ?

16) How can land be an issue [or the blatant lies the Arab lobby's financed: Jimmy Carter has said, though he admitted that Israel is a great equal democracy for all, Arabs and Jews alike!'] if "moderate" Palestinian official government still has venomous hatred and pro 'death cult' in it's regular curriculum and on it's official TV, or that such "moderate" Arab media outlets [like Al Jazeera] still glorify mass murder as "martyrdom"?

17) Who's more powerful, the Arab Muslim Goliath Oil mafia "lobby" on the world or a Chinese, Italian, Israeli, Irish, pharmaceutical, cigarettes lobbyists in Washington?

18) Had the International Arab Muslim lobby of nations in the UN [or the EU] not threatened other nations to bash Israel 24/7 [motivated by intolerance only!], What would be then the outcome?

_____

Let's make it clear, even if there will be a "Palestine" state, it will never change the factual history, that a group of foreign Arab immigrants came into the (historic) land of the Jews (and started to call themselves as "Palestinians" in the 1960's) and hijacked the world comunity via terrorism and Arab oil power to give them yet a second 'Palestine' state (after Jordan).
